Heidi is back, and surprisingly she’s still the same problem: being adorable in the middle of big, messy adult decisions. In this animated big-screen take, the Alps aren’t just a picturesque background. A ruthless businessman shows up with a plan, a new saw mill, and zero patience for “maybe we shouldn’t destroy the wilderness.” Heidi has to protect her grandfather and the alpine world she loves, while things go from wholesome to suddenly tense. It’s warm-hearted adventure with an environmental backbone. The jokes land gently, the threats actually matter, and the whole movie feels like it remembers that nature is not a wallpaper you can replace. If you came for comfort, you’ll get it. If you came for a fight, well. Heidi found one.

Heidi ist zurück, und ja, sie ist natürlich wieder die einzige Person in den Alpen, die ernsthaft beschließt, freundlich zu bleiben. Diesmal geht’s aber nicht nur um Ziegen, gute Laune und Wolken-Kulissen. Ein rücksichtsloser Geschäftsmann taucht auf, will die Natur umpflügen und betreibt das Ganze mit einer neuen Säge-Mühle. Während Erwachsene offenbar den Wald eher als Rohstoff sehen, versucht Heidi ihren Großvater und das, was die Berge für sie ausmachen, zu schützen. Die neue animierte Leinwandfassung nimmt dabei Herz in die Hand und packt die Handlung mit Abenteuer-Action. Süß ist das Ganze, ja. Aber es wird auch klar, dass „Idylle“ nicht automatisch bleibt, nur weil man sie mag.
